@pexy: Well, from my experiences, I only half believe what Apple claims. Yes the lens makes a huge difference, but the amount of light and the processing of the actual image has alot to do with it too.

Actually what one of my friends just pointed out is that this will be a big hit for deaf people. I'm not joking, apparently one of the biggest software that deaf people use to communicate long distances (outside of e-mails) is skype. Why? Because of sign language.

@Lou Esposito: The problem is that people have a shifting baseline. People expect Apple to come out each year and wow us. When they come out with something less "exciting" than they did last year then we start seeing it as average and less than above average.

I am personally waiting for the Iphone 4 to come out. Once my girl's Evo is mailed to us (in a weeks time) I plan on going to the store and doing a side by side comparison in the store. That will be my deciding point right there.
