@bdr9: To enable or disable hibernate in Windows 7 do this

@Stephen.Lecheler: How did that work for you? My only problem is that I am in a bad habbit of closing down browsers as I work (I blame Firefox). That is why I was looking for a desktop prog.

I currently use RSSOwl for all my RSS feeds. Anyone have a better RSS reader/feeder? I am looking for a desktop application for my work machine (W7).

@nocode: Thanks. Will probably try it later this week.

@HULAGHGLUHAGHUAGHUAGHLLUAGH: I do gaming, but for the most part I do alot of CAD work for my side job. You wouldn't believe how badly Photoshop and CAD chew down memory

I have to say, I normally don't like running things like rainmeter or other such gadgets in the background (I run 8gb of memory and try to make ever kb count). However this is one of those rare chances I might try this.

@Kevster: I honestly can't knock safari. I use it on my Iphone, but I think it might have had something to do with the last set of patches. I have cleared caches and done everything I can think of but as of late it is reminding me of IE 6. It is there with me OS, but I would much rather surf with my Iphone than on

@RonCam: RonCam is right. +1

@soggy_cheerio: I am not really discontent with them as I am with my room mates. Vms work great at work for me. However having to constantly nurture it or train somebody how to use it correctly is a different story when you live with that person.

@TheFu: I understand that, however my only problem with virtual machines on that computer are the system resources. I have my set of work computers, but this computer is my donation to the house (IE I get a discount because I share a media server). It is maxed out right now at 8gb. The 2 terabytes of hard drive

@TheFu: Well, I kind of don't want to restart my computer for random web browsing or to load a thumb drive everytime I have a friend over. I would rather have a solution that would allow me to quarantine it.

I'm looking for sandboxing software. I honestly don't want to build a virtual machine/ virtual box everytime I want to browse the internet. Can anyone recommend a good sandboxing application that I can use to keep my computer safe?

@thinkerer: Hardly. You have to think about who is buying hard drives and what applications they are being used for.

@Andre Aguiar: Thank you. I thought I was the only one thinking that

@phor11: Because, like all things the exploits are there for flash because it has been around for so long.
