To be honest, I can’t see any reason to do a fully paid game on mobile. Even if I was making a classic Nintendo style game, without lots of micro-transactions, the mobile audience expects to be able to play some of a game before playing it.

All he’d have to do is change one number in the middle somewhere.

In adition to the Nendroid, I went so far as to buy the CD because of the nice book it comes with. Unfortunately, the CD itself was somewhat disappointing. By that I mean the mastering sounds noticeably different from the youtube/nnd releases. It sounds like it has very heavy volume compression. Furthermore, some of

Microsoft invented Surface Pro for this sole purpose. Really!

As I understand it Desktop Computer sales as a whole are much slower in Japan when compared to the U.S.. So my logic is PC sales are slow because all Desktop sales are slow. I wasn’t even considering Macs.

I’m pretty sure he’s referingto MS int eh context of teh Japanese market... mainly the terrible Xbox sales. Heck, even PCs, in general, struggle there.

My guess is that the team that makes Splatoon is more familiar with western games. Therefore patch notes are possibly something they’ve personally encountered and learned to appreciate in the games they personally play.

Google Cardboad is actually a real thing and exists for people like us. Too bad my phone (S4) can’t handle it, and upgrading smartphones now cost much more than they will ever be worth to me.

Peter Pan is often played by a woman in stage performances... and Link is preettty much a less annoying Peter Pan.

He intends to pay artists to replace them once he’s done with the programming, assuming he gets the budget to do so, which he probably will. (I hope.)

I think this comes form different definitions of main stream. Certain things are discussed as mainstream with regards to gaming, e.g. is this a mainstream or a niche game? But then we are still as a point where we discuss just how main stream gaming is as a whole..

At least it’s not call II.76

When I was taking some Japanese courses I was lead to believe that actually being able to read a Japanese newspaper was one of the greater linguistic feats one could aspire to. My understanding is it requires greater reading skills for a Japanese person to read a Japanese news paper than it does for a U.S. Citizen to

My gut feeling is Miyamoto would have declined the offer had it been made.

So creepy Mario is molesting the rabbit while everyone else in the banner watches in horror or disbelief. Intentional or not? I think intentional.

I feel like these guys shouldn’t be called trolls because they have too much to gain monetarily so aren’t truly “in it for the lulz.” I’m sure these guys enjoy the damage they cause to the system and other players, but watching the world burn clearly isn’t their true objective.
