I had a look through the Payday 2 skills, reminds me very much of Borderlands (being a recent example) and I like that you can mix and match skills.

Love both Deathstreaks and Killstreaks.
They can be worlds of fun and can shake up the routine.
It's one of the best feeling in the world isn't it.
"Deathstreaks were kind of useful in going against that, but never struck the balance I wanted."

My game is more often than not Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, when not the Kingdom Hearts or my hundredth attempt to beat Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles from scratch with some friends I've press ganged into it.
