I just don’t understand how all these Skrulls could be here, with Talos mostly in charge for a while, and no one has any idea that Hydra had basically completely infiltrated SHIELD just a few years before. It doesn’t make sense.

But I can say, as somebody who’s enjoyed the MCU up to this point, it’s falling short for me and not because it’s not “realistic.” Thus far it’s a weird fit for where the MCU is at this point post-Blip; the spy caper, to me, is actually less interesting than the hidden history of Earth’s Skrull…

Also he kinda dropped that the mask he had was just V1, and V2 COULD do the whole body thing...  Which opens the door to pulling a surprise double-twist infiltration on Gravik with one of his own skrulls being actually human...

YUUUUUP. The post-Endgame content has been struggling HARD to find a through-line. It seems like maybe they finally got there with Quantumania? “We’re doing multiverse stuff with KANG,” announced somebody at Marvel, after two or three years of throwaway sidestories.

I’m a long time comic collector and went to every MCU premier. But post-Endgame, I feel the same malaise. For me the answer is simple: The quality of writing has really gone downhill.

This writing is honest to god getting worse and worse. I used to visit this website daily, and now between the shitty writing and all the ads I can barely put up with it.

I can’t find Babylon 5 on Max using their search function. Did they remove it to create artificial scarcity?

Most shows that were shot on film were shot widescreen, because most 35mm film is widescreen, which is why some older shows are able to be remastered on a wide aspect ratio.

Entertainment is an older profession than any of the other things you’ve mentioned. We’ve been entertaining and storytelling throughout human history. Great entertainment can affect more people than any plumber, mechanic, or electrician ever could.

I know how to do my own plumbing, electrical work and auto repair. I can’t make a Mission Impossible movie.
