Not having SBMM ruined online shooters for me a long time ago. I’m finally interested in them again now that it’s starting to become popular. I’ve never understood who the hell these people are just continually feeding themselves to the streamers are. If a bunch of people getting constantly bodied by you over and over

Bitching about SBMM is honestly the biggest L any streamer can take. Especially in TimTheTatman’s case (who’s made an entire career off of failing upwards) where he says he won’t stream CoD MWII multiplayer because of SBMM - all I hear is “games are only fun when I’m winning and making everyone else in the lobby

“SBMM—I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, man—is, I dare say, killing video games.”

Lolol it's tracking every round u have played not just the few before. It's actually the definition of fair , I can't believe these scrubs are crying that they can no longer pub stomp some noobs , so now they won't stre public thier multiplayer matches because lol they now have a fair fight ?!?!?!? Do these tooolbags

SBMM “ruins” the game for streamers, I’ll give them that. When off stream SBMM is all good because they can 100% focus on it, but when they decide to stream the game their attention will be split between the game and interacting with their audience so they can’t keep up with the high skill matches.

But honestly, even

Too bad, a lot of people don’t like continuously getting stomped by people way over their skill level either. Could the formula to match people use some tweaking? Sure but it’s way better for the vast majority of players over free match.

The key phrase here is competitive game.
By their logic, we should have mixed teams of little leaguers and MLB players playing baseball.
I’m sure it would be entertaining, but not for any reason that has to do with baseball itself.

I hate articles like this, because it makes it sound like this is a opinion held by a lot of people playing the game, instead of a small vocal minority. If SBMM was flawed and hurting the game long term, it wouldn’t be implimented because the designers behind the game that have meta data would know it’s turning people

He pretty much just want the lazy streamer mode, rather than earn kills by his own merit he would rather just pick on the lower skilled players to pad his content.

Yeah I dont get that at all. I started playing COD mobile again heavy when I got my samsung Z Fold 4 (so good on the big screen), and before I leveled up to the max at 150 I would run thru entire teams like butter. It was fun but gets boring.

These are the type of people that play hours and hours on end, because it’s their job, and tell literal kids to ‘git gud’ and then whine about SBMM supposedly making lobbies more fair for all players as a detriment to the game.

SBMM has an inherent problem not in that it exists, but that people on the whole refuse to believe their ranking they’re given and don’t understand that, at some point in their progression, they will encounter people who are better than they are. That’s just the law of averages.

“Get gud! Oh! Wait... Seems like I need to ‘Get Gud’ too! Hey! That’s not fair!!!!” 😆

So basically this

This is the FPS version of whales.

The comments on the video in youtube make me laugh. “I am an above average player and it is not fun for me getting put in the lobbies with the sweaties.” So you fucking suck but think you are good because you play against noobs then?

I think that is literally it. As a streamer he has a interest in playing to generate entertaining/interesting content, like him stomping pubbies, which is in direct conflict with other players who are trying to play a game against relatively equally skilled opponents.

Oh Boo Hoo, cry me a river. You know what’s not fun for people that aren’t quite that great at Call of Duty, playing with people who are already 2 levels of prestige in before you have even played one game of MP.

So because a lobby isn’t going to become a de facto content mine for the fucker to stomp over, he isn’t going to stream? Okay.

This is typical of most, if not all, streamers. They think the only content worth showing is them stomping, and not trying hard like everyone else.
