You know full well what they were doing with that headline.

Despite being an overall creative failure, X-Men: Origins, the opening montage and elements of the film like Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds’s Wade Wilson did actually work and probably was part of what ultimately helped get Deadpool made (plus a big push from some leaked test footage from ... uh ... sources unknown).

Wolverine and Deadpool team up is too good to pass up based upon a retirement statement from years before.  People unretire in sports and entertainment all the time it's fine

Meh.  Bad blood or creating villains is mostly a creation of the fan community.  Marvel lent Gunn a camera team to film the JL cameos at the end of Peacemaker because the WB team couldn’t be around to get coverage.  We like to pretend they’re constantly fighting, but they’re not.

The Suicide Squad had a bit of an uphill battle to overcome. It came out while WB was experimenting with the HBO Max/theatrical release weirdness, the pandemic not quite being over, and the Ayer Suicide Squad turning off a lot of people (do even the Snyder diehards actually like that one?).

It probably wasn’t poorly researched -- just selectively researched.

Quick question, how long do we have to wait before we admit to ourselves that we don’t like these replacement characters as much as the original ones without being labeled a bigot?

In the movie, Riri is 19 years old and she’s still an MIT student from Chicago.

Yeah, but you can bury the car yourself. No need to find anyone to keep a secret if the person doing the work is you.

Um...

I’m shocked that a man born in 1940s eastern Europe who went on to direct some of the most cocaine-fueled comedy films in 1980s Hollywood history may have, once or twice, misbehaved around women according to 2022 standards.

This kind of comment is like using rap lyrics as evidence in court.

Lena dunham admitted to sexually abusing her underage sibling btw

what’s to like about him? he’s just a good looking rebel who plays by his own rules. I’m a bit worried about this sara hess person tbh

How—in what way—was he a good partner, father or brother—to anybody?

Let’s be honest: the smallfolk have never mattered. Not now, not 200 years from now. They’re always treated as kindling because the dramas of the royalty or the landed gentry are just SO much more important.

How many lives could have been spared if Rhaenys had just uttered the words “Dracarys.” Alas...
