I have a feeling I know what this show is going to look like. But seriously, I’d check it out if I was in the area!

The problem is it’s an early SMT. I believe reviews said it could take as long as TWO SECONDS to shift, and I’m sure it was dreadful at parking lot speeds. I wouldn’t get any automated manual from that era.

The kind of buyer that doesn’t balk at the question of “how much can you afford a month?”

I like that two-tone truck wrap way more than I thought I would.

It still seems crazy to push this out when they’re barely getting the regular Broncos out the door, but I guess the margins on these will be worth it.

I was thinking the same thing but for a different reason.  “Good luck living in Austin on $29k a year”. That said the average for the metro is $32k, I suppose it’s still possible to find a place for $1k a month in the area.

The EV route could be significantly different, as EVs tend to be more efficient at lower average speeds as opposed to more constant speed thanks largely to regen.

Incredibly unsafe, incredibly ugly, and probably a nightmare to drive. I’m trying to find a redeeming quality here but I just can’t.

12 yards long, 2 lanes wide,
65 tons of American Pride!

The exterior is pure Honda. It pulls inspiration heavily from the Element, as you noted, and the front grill and headlights are straight from the Honda E

Happy to see the Limited trim is only a couple grand more, and Subaru’s keeping the starting price under $30k. They basically just closed the gap both features and price wise between the two trims, it looks like.

I see the Limited being the go-to trim for most people, with the base model being picked up mostly by

F1 can choose to refund the MASSIVE hosting fee tracks pay for the privilege of hosting an F1 event, which would allow Spa to provide at least partial refunds. That’s what this comes down to: F1 got paid to be at Spa, and if they choose to keep that money and do nothing it’s on them.

Can we add “this should totally be a slideshow” to the list?

The exterior looks fantastic. As Countach as possible while (presumably) still providing modern supercar performance.

The interior is where the facade starts to fall apart. Suddenly, looking at the screens and the switchgear in the interior, it’s immediately obvious you’re sitting in a re-skinned Aventador. I could

the hybrid is front-wheel drive only.

An amusing contradiction, but also true? The trim is purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect the truck’s ability to do truck things. If it’s otherwise pretty bullet proof I’m more than willing to give that a pass.

Also, why not just glue the damn thing on?

I’m not as hard on ‘coupe’ SUVs as some people, but when you’re working with a vehicle this small to start with cutting off cargo room is just ridiculous. Second worse coupification after the Mini

That works well for used bacon grease or other fats that will congeal when they cool

Max was ahead and had the right to the entire track width in the corner, yet still left plenty of room for Hamilton inside.

I saw a Porsche Cayenne with the license plate “TX CEO” which seems about the douchiest thing possible.

On the more self-aware side, I saw a Model S recently with the license plate “NEW TXAN”. Given the current sentiment in Austin (please stop moving here) you can guess how well that’s going to go over.
