Cheap and sensible is still a substantial chunk of the market. The problem with cheap and sensible is that it is not profitable. The margins are super thin for billions of dollars worth of investment.

I have never had to resort to looking at details to appreciate the design of other supercars. All look purposefully superfast - Case in point the McLaren F1. Some supercars such as the F40 and, as was recently pointed out in the smoking tire, the new Aston Martin Vantage, had terrible quality in detail.

Where’s the T50? All I see is a tarted up 3rd gen MR2. What an underwhelming design.

What amazed me is how Hamilton did not go crazy during those last moments. He must have been shitting bullets. The gods of good fortune were in his paddock on Sunday.

Redbull stated that they brought Verstappen in as much out of fear that his tires would give up. They do not regret their decision.

You have to see what the problem is, and that is where being woke comes into play.

Kudos for Hamilton for supporting the cause. However kneeling is a choice and no one should be shamed into joining the protest. The Formula One crowd is not focused on the BLM movement and many of them are wondering why they are being dragged into the ‘show’ that they feel has nothing to do with their world. Hamilton

I starred him too.

The Model 3 is sacrilege when there is this around

Obligatory: You’d need to have a lot of balls to drive that thing around.

Yes indeed. Blackberry and Nokia were unassailable at one time.

Ah, the restrictor. Apparently it is a part that can be easily be removed to allow new nozzles to work.

Impractical is the wrong word. What you can say is that that there is a stronger case for other types of cars for “stats” reasons such as fuel economy superiority of hybrids over them, etc. This totally ignores personal preferences that customers have like the driving characteristics that diesel engines offer, the

There is a particulate filter for that

Exactly. You have to baby a gas turbo car to get decent fuel economy. You don’t have to with a diesel. You are free to dip with abandon into the ocean depths of low rev torque without the gas mileage penalty. And with a 600+ mile range between fill ups, the diesel station issue is not a deal breaker.

You make them sound like horrible cars. They still beat the 1.5 turbos in practical fuel economy, and that super low rev gobs of torque is wonderful. No need to baby the throttle. The case for them is harder these days but it is by no means gone. No one is cross shopping a VW diesel with a Tesla.

So, if they get Covid, do they leave it at school or can they bring it home to share with their parents and families?

I always used to think of the Prius shifter as a floppy limp d(shutyomouth!). After buying a Prius I got used to it pretty quickly. It is super convenient being able to shut the car down with one touch without engaging park- simply by pressing the start/stop button.

That’s why he wagered.

The more I look at it, the more I believe the Bronco was designed to swipe the Defender’s lunch as much as it was the Jeep’s.
