Prometheus

The recent “Planet of the Apes” movies (2011, 2014, and 2017). They’re supposed to be the prequels to the original 1968 “Planet of the Apes” movie starting Charlton Heston. You even hear and see references to events that occur in the 1968 movie in the newer movies.

Epic confirmed that it is playable and was recorded from a PS5 devkit.

There will absolutely be games that look like this.  There are games now that are 80% of this already.

I dont agree, its just like going from snes to ps1 or to ps2 and ps3. Heck we have gameplay now better looking than high quality cut scenes

James Bama, who did those famous covers with Doc’s ridiculous widow’s peak, is also a well known Western (cowboy) artist.

Vegeta would like his widow’s peak back, please. Or vice versa.

Looks like Doc Savage.

Oh, I thought it was a copy of the Marvel Studio’s intro, with the characters inside the letters. Thanks for this.

So then it’s Microsoft that copied an old video of Sony?

I would love if the PS5 ends up being a big sphere that rests in a stand to contrast with Microsoft’s big rectangular box with the sharp edges. It would just be so ridiculous

Now playing

The main animation is the same from the one they did 5 years ago so it’s not so much a direct ‘Copy’ but yeah it does seem they are following the footsteps of branding everything under a ‘PS Studios’ brand

Lucas was just too fascinated by early CGI special effects, the script needed some tuning, he miscast Anakin twice, and maybe, possibly, in his middle/older age he either lost an important sense for directing or lacked people around him who could help him bring his vision into life in a good movie.

I think if he stuck with the formula from the original trilogy’s second and third entry (he works as a hands on producer with a story by credit taking a heavy hand in the initial broad strokes) that would have been the perfect mix. He works best when he’s got constraints on his work. Reigned in we get others tempering

There's behind the scenes footage of Christensen doing really good takes and Lucas asking for less emotion and such.

I think the right answer is that looking at it through his eyes it’s easy to see how that was probably the intent that Lucas was going for, but that the movie is hampered by a lot of flaws that make it hard to pull those thoughts/themes out of the movie. For all the jokes about the movie being about a trade dispute,

The sequels desperately needed a single voice to ensure all three films supported an overall story. Playing hot potato between creative teams with wildly different visions of the series was a terrible idea.

Intent vs. impact. That’s all I’ll say.

Very interesting.
It further adds to the idea that written by George but adapted and directed by a more competent team, the prequels could have been the films we wanted.

This was one of the best SW takes I’ve seen in my life. Once again artists like Filoni and Johnson get the lore and know how to move forward without straying far from the core themes. J.J. makes copy pasta: his own words “it’s more important that you go off and learn what to make movies about than how to make movies."
