"projecting your own tastes and desires onto the other sex in a generalized fashion is probably wrong."

I'm really not seeing it. Throw up the pic and point it out.

Which promo art would that be? I'm looking at a piece of promo art for her right now and she's clearly wearing shorts, no underwear to be seen.

What the hell are you looking at? She's wearing shorts and barely any of the flesh of her legs is exposed.

Wrong. Vilification of the image of a sexual woman reinforces the attitudes and opinions that lead to slut shaming in real life. The number of people who make the claim that they can not take a character seriously because she was designed by a man to appeal to men is an inconsequential minority. The majority make

This is an amazing post. Seriously, props to you. :)

Are you fucking serious? Traditionalists love to push the argument that a woman is fundamentally degraded by people perceiving her in a sexual manner. This notion permeates western culture and is one of the reasons slut shaming exists. It's something that can be seen whenever issues like this come up, you get

>Also I wish that artist drew gay manga, them dwarves are hot.

The same choice an unattractive male has, she can actually try and get to know people and let her personality win people over.

Bullshit. Society also thinks slut-shaming is okay so society can take its antisex attitude and shove it.

I'm with you. Sure there are people who are (a minority) attracted to the "bear" look, but the power fantasy the dwarf represents is not fulfilled by the look of the character but by the destruction he can cause. But that power fantasy can be fulfilled equally by any of the other characters in the game to.

It's a popular niche attraction referred to as "bear" if I recall correctly.

You're wrong about that. That's what they'd like beauty to be in the future, but right now it's a social construct.

I have to disagree with that, beauty is a social construct that has everything to do with how one persons physical appearance is judged by other people.

I'm a bit surprised to hear there are still people hating on Team Ninja for Metroid: Other M. Whenever I see that game come up they aren't even mentioned, in fact I'd actually forgotten they had anything to do with it.

Thief 2 rightly gets the most praise from the fanbase, but I'd say that Thief 3 would be better if someone prefers a more casual playstyle. The best way to play Thief 1 and 2 is on the highest difficulty due to some of the additional objectives that are added on higher levels being almost like additional story

It's not up to the lawyer whether a plea deal is accepted. Honestly I don't see why the prosecution would offer a plea in this case, it seems like a slam dunk.

Well, it's Capcom, so I wouldn't be surprised if they split those classes up into two different DLC packs to get more money.
