Based on Tesla’s recent stock price, the 10k you paid for FSD is now worth about $7500.

I think years ago (the “anymore” to which your refer) SV was seen as a good thing. And certainly there are good things to come out of there.

I say this as someone who just laid out $40k for a battery/solar array in CA... we made sure Nothing came from Tesla. That lies solely on He-Lon acting like an entitled douchebag. Factor in the “Self Made Millionaire” myth he propagates, when he had literal fucking jewels to sell when he felt poor. We couldn’t in good

Though improvements can certainly be made, utilities have a fair good idea how to generate and deliver electric power reliably. Texas chose not to do certain things that make it more robust. Similarly, I’ve driven cars that I didn’t like on paper or photos, but ended up loving in person (looking at you, new Supra). There is much that can be discovered about a car during a 20 minute drive that you can’t get from specs or photos.

This is one of the best things I’ve ever read here, it’s hard to imagine anyone (engineers included) who didn’t learn something new by reading this.

It’s not waste: It’s constituent service for politically advantaged businesses. It’s what happens when the government is run by business-minded grifters.

Do the kids take the sticker with them when they are in school?

+1 Peterbilt
