HDMI 2.0 has been out for over a year, and a new display port (internal) supports 8k@60hz, so there's almost no excuse.

Bravo. Maybe we could see the return of the weekly updates on weed related news? I guess it was too political for when it was on here, but it's legal in more and more places, you guys should reconsider.

It's however you perceive it. There's a difference between staring at a monitor and being immersed. That's the point of VR, to feel like you're part of it.

Next time you go for a journey across the solar system and a morning jog on the Great Wall of China on the same day, let me know. In the mean time, I'll be experiencing what no TV can offer.

how many people do you really know that uses a Bluetooth headset anywho?

We have n0 details, don't get butt hurt before we know anything.

I can tell that at GDC you're going to hear some seriously cool stuff. Sony is holding over a 4 hour presentation, Oculus is holding 7 talks, and if we don't get a release date on CV1 we'll at least hear some more info.

"accidentally"

Not saying you're not right, but I'm pretty sure this virus would be about .5MB and disguised very well. Something like this doesn't go undiscovered this long without good hiding.

Well, in the grand scheme of things no, but to us we are important :)

I think it's a stupid idea until we get our shit together. I would not describe societies shit as being together.

That was above expectation. Worth a watch, but I'm super excited to see the upcoming films now.

For most TV manufacturers now a days that isn't enough, they attempt web browsing and smart hubs that are laggy and don't deliver as advertisements go. I'm not saying they cant get it right, but more often than not new features are bloatware to push units.

It's just speed that matters, if they add Netflix and thats all it does, and it does it well, great! But don't add sub par features that just don't add up to a useable experience due to underperforming hardware. I would rather a supported feature that costs more and is better supported than a feature that doesn't

The components in a smart TV don't even add up to a raspberry Pi. They put cheap stuff in them and add Netflix and people's minds are blown.

You could argue that 3D scanning has been in the works for many decades now, but never in this format. I think one day we'll see 3D scans of entire cities with drones and what not

Developers Units have been released thus this far, and are obtainable. But, they are developers units. It's not like this is the iPhone 6, and the technology already exists, they're on the fore front of developing something big, and this is the year that they are going to release it. All pointers point to

I have no idea, just figured that kind of information was common sense.

Certain types of interstellar things happen over the course of millions of years, like the forming of stars in highly pressurized gas clouds such as the one you see.

Cool.
