Well OBVIOUSLY it’s true if you think that one of the “rights” of the majority is to oppress the minority. And we liberals are so mean for taking that away.

I can pass on some advice from a completely different setting (i.e. this is the advice I got about making tweaks to my traditional, conservative religious ceremony to make it more feminist, so not at all your issue, but with some applicable advice):
