It’s an incredibly fun sport to watch, and an incredibly difficult sport to play. Imagine baseball where home runs counted as 6 runs, and hitting the wall counted as four runs. Oh, and there are no foul balls and the field stretched in every direction.

As a 17 year old with his first car (and never having anyone teach me about cars) I was totally unaware of this. Luckily I didn’t get much liquid on my skin so no damage was done there, but I spilled a good amount of green liquid all over my best friend’s very expensive custom brick driveway.

Look at where the runner is compared to the catcher. There is EASILY a lane to take a step right and slide to the outside. Lucroy NEVER moved left from this position, he moved right to slightly to reach for the ball. If Lucroy isn’t in an acceptable position here, where the hell is he supposed to stand?

That is not a dive. Nor was his direction going to take him anywhere near the plate when he pivoted to go left.

Let me guess. You’re an Astros fan.

First, I never called him “dirty”. I said what he did was blatant. He’s looking directly at the catcher, and he chose to make a move directly towards him with his shoulder down. How was that action not intended? Could it have been a last second decision where he thought, “Shit, the only thing I can really do here to

At this point the catcher has yet to catch the ball (which he needs to lean right to get) and the runner is on the line, with a path to slide outside and reach over with his left arm. He chose instead to deviate left and run straight into Lucroy with his shoulder lowered.

I have to say, I don’t ever recall a runner trying to slide for the inside corner of the plate. How anyone can think that what he was attempting to do wasn’t 100% blatant is beyond me. He aims squarely for Lucroy.

Alright, how about this:

- First half of the year, the Rays play their games at the Trop.
- Second half of the year, their KIDS play the games at a local high school?

Can you guys raffle off a spot to your Slack instance?

Oooo, ooo, what about the “house”?

“Oh nice, you got a Fuji apple? Wanna trade for this Gala?”
“Yeah, why not.”

I ditched the game the moment I answered a question correctly and the game said I hadn’t. With no real system of making up for these types of software issues, the game has a real integrity issue, and this news only shows it stretches out further than just software quality.

Let’s greenlight a documentary of those three guys on a road trip on the way to the 2020 induction.

God damn, I remember watching this episode live...speechless for an hour after. Thought she was dead.

I am the kind of person that

Think some folks were trying to make sure the match went a certain way...

Just an embarrassing waste of time and effort.

Oh man, my stepbrother had the OJ Slammer. Was my favorite out of his whole collection.

“...and Mr. Bayaport threw a punch!”

Exclamation point? Really?
