Just got off the phone with my husband’s cousin who live in Detroit. He has been quarantined TWICE due to fever, but since he works at a home improvement store his job is labeled essential so he can’t get any paid time off, just an order to report back in when his fever is gone. He said he went to Urgent Care this

Michigan voted him in by 10,700 votes. I hope they all remember Trump’s “playing favorites” bullshit come November.

For example, Florida, where Trump yes-man Ron DeSantis is governor, has reportedly received multiple shipments of the medical supplies they’ve requested to combat covid-19"

A few things from a person on the ground in Michigan:

He needs Michigan’s electoral votes.

Exactly. I saw on BBC that Dyson (of vacuum fame) is looking at making ventilators for the UK (or at least their UK branch was doing this; I don’t know where they are headquartered or if they have production sites here).

Like... why GM and Ford? Why not like... Honeywell or Carrier or American Standard or something? Auto manufacturers seem like they’d be out of their wheelhouse.

Here’s all you really need to know.

When Rick Wilson said “Everything Trump Touches Dies,” I should have taken it literally.

Thank you!!!! All I have to say is to all those engineers, designers, welders, and mechanics who put so much time and effort into making racing as safe as possible, they are pretty big heroes to me. Official update available via NASCAR now: serious but stable condition and undergoing further treatment.

Probably the wrong post to make a comment like this, dude. This is bad. Nobody gives a shit about your food content right now.

I don't think we can (or should) speculate regarding this. A lot of people at the track were shook up very deeply, and it's understandable that emotions will be running high at times like these.

I was standing up hollering, all excited for such a wild finish. And within seconds I just felt so sick to my stomach. I'm hoping we hear something promising soon.

Watched it live and was like “that was bad”. Then I saw the slow-mo replay of the upper-drivers-side of the cage take the direct hit of the car behind and was like “that’s really bad....”

I mean theres a late 60s charger sitting there too, completely unmentioned

The rear overhand gives me anxiety.

All I learned from that commercial is how much I really love Chevy C/K series pickups and Suburbans.

This commercial lacked a lot of emissions cheating diesel vehicles from the same company.
