Who says they won’t use the Tesla charger network? OEMs can buy into the network, Musk allows it, they just have to pay a pretty penny to get everything setup with the Big T. And with the questionable quality problems with the car, I have a feeling OEMs don’t trust the network. Maybe their cars wouldnt get full speeds

The other day, on Valencia or Mission, it was late as hell and I was tired/not paying attention and was stuck behind one of these for a number of blocks - I was super confused why they were driving so damn slow and basically stopping at every cross walk (note: these roads have lights and not stop signs). I figured it

Currently - cab-overs are impossible to build because of crash regulations, you can’t build a “safe” enough crash zone in a cab-over.

Has it seriously sold out already? I’m only sing one pink shirt in a size 17.

Really not that scary, I literally had this happen this morning, on my way into work on the 101 in SF. Slammed the rearend pretty hard up into my air-tank bombing through the Oregon desert in August (eclipse!) - blew a UJoint and ever since, knew the diff was going to pop at some point.

How about 4wheeling by yourself (YJ), blowing a rear UJoint (luckily has a SYE), tried to pull myself out with front wheel and the winch. Got through the hard stuff, but unknowingly blew the huge fuses to the charging system and killed the battery.

I really want to get a Cherokee Chief, an awesome overlander - I tell everyone I hate two door vehicles, but it seems to be all I own: 90 F250 Diesel, 93 Wrangler, probably a Sprinter soon, and a 71 VW Bug.

I have only ever owned vehicles that have more ground clearance that most bridges and I still want to buy these. I know I have no need for them, but I want to use them.

I’m not. I shoot for a few specific brands and that is it. I will NOT go to AM/PM and deal with their BS pay in the center of the island crap.

Coming from Aero work - “Black boxes” which are normally orange to find them easier are built to withstand insane pressures, fires, and crashes. Data can be recorded to multiple drives within the backup and it is completely sealed from the outside except for the connectors - which are usually milspec. You cannot

Um. Correct me if I am wrong:

Looks like they got pretty close during all of this filming, holding hands below the camera?

and what new entry-level luxury car

Been there, done that.

Stop at Poor Peoples Pub. You can’t drive on Rt16 without going there. Although you probably when up 91.

Sarcasm?

Oh Jesus. I’ve got this.

I’m sorry, but these are the two best things in the world. Why not combine them? :D

Whenever I would visit Germany for work, I would see one of these in a dealership in Ingolstadt, I always thought it looked great and wodnered why they weren’t selling it again in the US. If they sold it with a diesel, it would be a hard choice between the new F150 and this.

I disagree. Right now, the VW Group re badge almost every car, but they do it from the BIW. I think it is actually very simple now adays especially with 3d clay modeling CNCs, 3d scanning, and CAD software.
