All manufacturers with power horse engines try to keep people from hacking their ECUs. The reason? So that the Tuners don't create tunes that can be hidden from the company and then cause engine/transmission problems that the company has to pay for under warranty.

I think I would after make one agrument against Meyers there. Although yes, all of the cars he listed were made in a factory, I think when people think of Jeep, they think of the wrangler, which is normally modified in a garage just like the VW Beetle was when someone bough the Manx kit.

I would agree with Andrew. It is pretty sad to see the real numbers split between each truck. For example, have you ever looked up the sales numbers of the Bugatti Veyron? Especially if you look at them monthly? Or only in the US? It is sad looking if you don't account for the fact that they are $1 mil + each.

"Let's go offroading, what car should I take?"

Ugh, a had a friend, who was doing this up in Burlington, VT on his speedboat, he took too big of a wave and snapped his back - not a good idea.

My guess would be: Mojave Air and Space Port. Where SpaceX's first flight was.

Boo, only the extended cab. I wanted to see if they redesigned the 4-door interior. I had a 2010 for a few months (work truck) and you could fit SOOOOOOOO much in just the back seat area with the seat folded up.

Great looking bike!! BUT! I completely agree with the article earlier, the first time this goes down and one of those little wings gets broken, I wonder what that will do to the handling??

The V8 gets an extra 20 pounds on top of that. Both require a "heavy duty payload package."

DONT GET Autozone crap. I did that with my little brothers '71 in NH. It died on him 3 weeks later. Right before Christmas when I was coming to visit. Get a high quality Bosch.

As a result of that, it's not inconceivable to have a delivery timeline of as short as a week. A custom order is placed on Monday, your car is built on Tuesday, and it takes 3 days or so to ship to your dealer, then you pick it up the following week at your leisure.

"In the most simple terms possible, oversteer in when the front wheels slip while cornering and oversteer is when the rear wheels slip while cornering."

But, isn't that a little of the allure of racing? I race supermoto and at no means are we going fast, I think for the most part I hit maybe 85mph, maybe 90 down a front straight, but that adrenaline, that wanting to live on the edge of safe and disaster, sliding into the turn with my rear tire chasing the front, that

Ummm..... Audi 4.0 TFSI

Easy.

Could it be because VW won a the World Rally Championship and all Ken Block can do is crash a car and do burnouts in a circle?

I went to school at Norwich U. down in Northfield and never saw many issues - although we were a military school, so junkies probably werent that stupid. My Jeep (Wrangler) got broken into once, but I always left the doors unlocked and never had anything to steal.

This! With 4bt conversions! But not JeepSpeed, that stuff is WAY too expensive.

try, went to buy a 1971 bug for my brother, I had been looking for a few months and finally found a body that was in great condition and supposedly so was the engine. I couldn't look at it until after work(winter time in the high desert of LA) so it was pretty dark out. Took it for a spin, it ran great!! I
