Yeah, this title made me excited at the thought of a Paul McGann miniseries.

Sorry, but how did you get "eighth Doctor" crammed into the title instead of "twelfth?"
Who makes a better pilot than one who's name is "Pilot".
Bear is the classic 'sidekick steals the show' character of this series and deserves his own spin-off...
I see what you did there :)
Still nowhere near as creepy as this hellspawn:
I guess the main difference is that it's implied that Shaw is actually incapable of emotion, while May suppresses emotion. But otherwise, yeah, I can see the similarities.
Dull is exactly the word. One very cool scene aside (the phase-stalking of May, who vanished when he reached her, was awesome) its actually a real slog to get through an episode of this now.
It was good to see more of May in this episode, and maybe this is because I have yet to see more than the start of season one of Fringe (I'll get to it eventually), but I think Melinda May seems very similar to agent Shaw on Person of Interest.
Magneto already destroyed New York once. So I wouldn't put it past them.
While this isn't the first piece of sci-fi to deal with the Kennedy assassination (Stephen King did it, Quantum Leap did it, etc) the timing is a bit less than tasteful.
I know better than to play this game.
Probably the most glaring difference between this season and last is the clothing they put her in...
ME WATCHING THIS SCENE!
WHAT!!!
This is sweet, but did they really have to gun down his parents first?
That comment made me remember this gif.
