I’m pretty darn certain the Unreal 4 Engine can handle a nice sprawling world map. Granted, it’ll probably be small(er,) then the original, but if you’re working on a realistic scale it’d almost have to be.

You are right that a lot of Microsoft big exclusive franchises need a rest. This is why it’s so important to try to establish new franchises, especially in a world where publishers push for yearly releases whenever they can.

That said, lag does happen. However unless it’s something severe it shouldn’t completely derail you. At least that’s my experience with PvE in MMOs.

Yeah, honestly this isn’t an issue for me. Since races don’t have distinctive “voices,” you’re often going to be met with situations where the person that gave the best voice tryout isn’t the same race as the person they’re playing.
