1: You just engaged in a straw man fallacy, good job.
You mean the Permanent Fund Dividend? Actually that predates Palin’s run at governor by several decades. Also it’s not a direct redistribution, the money is invested and the dividend is paid out of the returns on that investment. I think Palin might have strengthened the program somewhat, but that’s it.
I honestly have mixed feelings about using an action based combat system. I’m not totally opposed to such systems, but I don’t want to completely lose the strategic elements that the original game had. Thankfully this at least doesn’t look like a frantic button mash fest.
Considering my sources work within the industry, and a number of them are on speaking terms with key people within Square Enix, I’m going to trust them more than some dude on a comment board.
Well, I’m hearing other things from other people. Also no Luminous has had nowhere near the resources put into it that Unreal 4 had. UE4’s been in development since 2003, and didn’t get it’s stable release until 2015. That’s over ten years of development, by a company whose main source of revenue is creating…
Last I heard they were using Unreal 4 for this actually, which makes sense. Last I heard the Luminous engine was being eyed for early retirement. Mainly because while it can produce good visuals it’s very much unfinished, can be difficult to work with, and is still missing some key features.
Ugh, dumbbells are always the catching point whenever I want to throw together a comprehensive but compact home gym. Without a big old gym they’re kinda neccessary, but they always have one of several problems.

BTW: Just because it’s funded doesn’t mean you can’t still donate if you want to. You can still reserve a copy of the game that way, and there’s always stretch goals.
Last push to get that thing funded was crazy. It earned over 100k in the span of twelve hours yesterday. XD
I swear I’ve heard this somewhere before. <_<
Lets see.
Yeah, watched the four episodes available on Crunchroll, and I’m loving it. As a kid this show was just a fun romp, but I’m really enjoying seeing these characters grow up. :)
Being paid to eat Hohoes.
Time to introduce some friends of mine on the PC side, to the best console gaming experience 2003 had to offer...
Gonna try this later today. Woke up at 1AM and played Void Ark and Diadem once each real fast before I decided I needed a few more winks before I had to go into work. <_<;;
That, and there are a number of games I play where I would benefit from having more face buttons. (Final Fantasy XIV, give me all the face buttons please!)
Did you ever finish the main scenario?
The Final Fantasy XIV 3.1 patch also hits Tuesday. I, think the last patch ever for Final Fantasy XI also hits that same day, but I’m not sure about that.
Honestly, I feel like there needs to be a middle ground model between traditional retail releases, and free to play. Sometimes free to play doesn’t work well with a genre, or is simply implemented in a bad way. For a lot of genres however the traditional retail release isn’t a great fit either.
