Two reasons.
Two reasons.
Oh, sure, he was originally introduced as a patriotic war-time character in 1941. He’s since become far more general purpose mind you, and while the character is occasionally used to comment on more blatantly political issues, generally Captain America is treated more akin to a general purpose comic book character.
Nice try Sherlock.
You do realize that that this point, Nazi is just another generic interchangeable villain, as far as cartoons, television, and action films are concerned. This is due to the wide-spread agreement that it’s okay to hate nazi’s.
Getting rather tired of these sorts of Star Wars commercials myself.
And if you think a, “color scheme,” automagically makes something political, then I pity you. 9_9;;
And the stereotypical statements just keep coming. Seriously, are you doing that on purpose? Also, no punching out a cartoon supervillain is NOT a political statement, even if said supervillain is a Nazi, (which really doesn’t count as modern either.)
Yeaaaaah, because punching out a skull faced Nazi is totally a relevant modern day commentary on current political situations.
A few things.
Ahh, Square Enix’s notoriously overprotective marketing department strikes again. Seriously, I’ve heard stories about these guys freaking out over western publications resizing logo’s without their permission. They’re absolute control freaks, and it sounds like they drive everyone around them bananas, (including other…
Honestly, the anime line-up this fall seems a bit, thin. :/
Really, really, really, REALLY hate this style of doing business.
This, basically. Another year or eighteen months down the line, there’ll start to be enough of a back-catalog of AAA games that they’ll be able to start putting them on PS+ more often. Right now, the bulk of AAA games they could offer are new enough that Sony couldn’t give them away for free without cannibalizing…
.....Alright, where’s my pitchfork!?
Yes I agree with this sentiment. It really feels like Sony never made a real push with the Vita. Instead they just, stuck it with ports, shoddy side games, and overpriced accessories.
Well at least somebody did! For awhile there I was worried that I might have actually been subtle! XD
Frankly the complete and utter lack of experience making actual games is what make me uneasy about that Kickstarter. I mean Playdek was what, a CCG company? There’s a vast gulf between creating a collectable card game and making a good functioning videogame. The fact that Matsuno was only creating the story and…
Fighting games really are having a Hay day.
Well, I think this is more of a problem for game reviewers than anything else. Oh, to be certain there are some games that sound way too involving for me taste but that’s because I have an MMO, and gaming outside of that tends to either be a momentary diversion or a game I’ll pick up during a break from things.
Oh, agreed. The solution is that SE needs to hire more team-members, so that they can give people time off more frequently, without significant delays to the content schedule. I mean if giving some of the members a few weeks off pushes back a major patch by a month, then your crew obviously needs more redundancy.
