I’m assuming the lighting effects on the textures (which are definitely not PSX-ish) are built into the engine and unavoidable. Looks pretty good regardless.

The funny thing is that most xbox and playstation games render at 30 fps. Sure, some games run at 60 fps., but usually the big name, cinematic, graphically intensive games are capped at 30.

Neither movie makes sense. How about that? TLJ hit the undo button on TFA and TROS hit the undo button on TLJ. Motivations and characterizations changed seemingly randomly between films.

It’s got two hours of battery life. Alienware reinvented the Sega Genesis Nomad for a new generation.

But does it run Crysis? Joking aside, it’s maybe worth it to purchase for low-intensity games to play on a television, if you’re not interested in streaming from a PC.

I think it’s a good strategy - by being very predictable and derivative about everything like the naming and logos, Sony’s doing a seemingly deliberate opposite of whatever the hell Microsoft is doing with its XBox One Something X branding where you can’t even tell it’s new console unless you’re a gaming nerd.

Come on, what’s confusing about a product line with titles like the Xbox, Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox Series X? :D

On one end we have Sony, whose naming scheme is a bit boring, but consistent and easy to follow. On the other you have Nintendo whose names are varied, but at least have some kind of reasoning behind the names that ties to the console’s features (except for Wii and Wii U from what I can tell).

I was going to get into The Witcher 1 over the weekend on my MacBook Pro. I did upgrade to Catalina and to my surprise the Steam version of Witcher and Witcher 2 are both 32bit for macOS. Which means that they’re no longer playable on modern Mac machines that have Catalina installed. Bootcamp and Virtual Desktops are
