Good to know my laptop can run it just fine, and probably maxed at that. Now I just have to actually play through the first two.

Thank God you took so much time to accurately use uppercase lettering, proper grammar, and proper punctuation instead of just making yourself look like one giant asshole of a troll. Oh wait.

Sooo, time to glue all your USB ports shut?
I'm currently running my old Core2Duo E8400 desktop as an Ubuntu 12.10 server for all my backup, media sharing, and file downloading needs. I think I'm planning on moving things around though soon and converting my gaming desktop into my new server, as I now have an MSI GT60 ONE-249 to game on, while my current…
Yep, baby steps in the right direction. First comes the demand, then comes the supply, and then all is well. There are a number of 4k monitors out that are around the 30" mark and selling for around $5-6k. They're mostly for professional media/photo/medical work, but from what I've seen they would work for gaming…
So in other words its been a while since you've looked at a Vizio TV in a store that actually knows how to calibrate them properly. Both my 42" and 47" have excellent viewing angles. In fact at the most recent gathering at my parents house (whom I sold my 42" to when I got the 47") I was once again astounded by the…
I think we can absolutely stop marketing murder as a game as soon as we as a species stop using it as a political tool to get what we want. Now since that will never happen I guess we'll never stop getting these murder simulators.
Jackie would be proud!
Norse mythology myself. My home media server is Midgard, my desktop is Sleipnir with my laptops being Hugin and Munin. Of course I don't mind saying all of these because you'll have to go through Muspelheim to get to them if I ever allow them to connect to the internet.
Ah nope the one I was think of was AOC. Not a bad company from my experience. I've got a little 15" TV with VGA input that I got from my old work. The things about 6-7 years old, and is still chugging right along no thanks to how I've treated it over the years. It appears there are also a few other options as the…
Someone, Asus(?) I think, just announced/released a couple of ~$250 24" IPS panels here a few weeks ago. Maybe take a look at those? Also, keep an eye out on Craigslist for used ones. That's where I picked up both of the 26" (1920x1200) monitors I have now. I got a KDC almost four years ago now for $200, and a…
You spout off about how it should be left to the free market, and then go on to bitch about how fast cameras have appeared in pretty much all our gadgets. Camera's have appeared in everything because that's what people want! If people didn't want to video chat then things like Skype, Chatroulette, etc would never…
Yep, obviously a ninja.
Woden is the older germanic version of Odin, and at the time I was creating my name I was just exploring my family's background. Turns out we've got some Irish, Scottish, Dutch, and German in us, so after the realization that I have a genetic predisposition to alcoholism I went ahead and set to work finding a name. …
And his sweat will save us all!
You need to give it a static IP address instead of having it use DHCP. The original Wii did the same thing for many people.
The original Wii had the same issue for many people including myself. I'm not sure why the Wii's have had so much trouble communicating with routers to get their DHCP address, but Nintendo obviously doesn't care if they haven't bothered to fix it in the last 6 years and two consoles.
