Norse mythology myself. My home media server is Midgard, my desktop is Sleipnir with my laptops being Hugin and Munin. Of course I don't mind saying all of these because you'll have to go through Muspelheim to get to them if I ever allow them to connect to the internet.

Ah nope the one I was think of was AOC. Not a bad company from my experience. I've got a little 15" TV with VGA input that I got from my old work. The things about 6-7 years old, and is still chugging right along no thanks to how I've treated it over the years. It appears there are also a few other options as the

Someone, Asus(?) I think, just announced/released a couple of ~$250 24" IPS panels here a few weeks ago. Maybe take a look at those? Also, keep an eye out on Craigslist for used ones. That's where I picked up both of the 26" (1920x1200) monitors I have now. I got a KDC almost four years ago now for $200, and a

You spout off about how it should be left to the free market, and then go on to bitch about how fast cameras have appeared in pretty much all our gadgets. Camera's have appeared in everything because that's what people want! If people didn't want to video chat then things like Skype, Chatroulette, etc would never

Yep, obviously a ninja.

Woden is the older germanic version of Odin, and at the time I was creating my name I was just exploring my family's background. Turns out we've got some Irish, Scottish, Dutch, and German in us, so after the realization that I have a genetic predisposition to alcoholism I went ahead and set to work finding a name.

And his sweat will save us all!

You need to give it a static IP address instead of having it use DHCP. The original Wii did the same thing for many people.

The original Wii had the same issue for many people including myself. I'm not sure why the Wii's have had so much trouble communicating with routers to get their DHCP address, but Nintendo obviously doesn't care if they haven't bothered to fix it in the last 6 years and two consoles.

This course of action is Jack Thompson approved!

If I didn't already get 56GB of free storage from Dropbox (YAY Galaxy Note 2) I might have given this a shot. Hell who am I kidding I'll probably still give this a shot just to see if I can do it. Who cares if I never use it right?

I don't see anything like that. When I disconnect from the network all that happens is that when I click on a tile the last available data is shown, and it displays somewhere that there is no current internet connection (usually a small message somewhere on the screen). None of the actual tiles themselves on the

Well considering the last time I can recall three weather systems colliding it was when a hurricane got sent straight up through the country to hit Ohio. We had incredibly bad winds but no real rain or anything else. It left pretty much the entire state without power for anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple

Haven't had any issues with it not being connected to the internet on my laptop when I'm out of wifi range. When that's the case it works just like any previous Windows OS unless of course what you're trying to access is stored solely on the cloud. If you know you're not going to have internet access though just

Once I figured out where how to work the stuff in the Metro interface I Don't really have a problem with it. For everyday light browsing I could definitely see myself using it without any issues, and when I need to get to some real work with splitscreen stuff and such I can move to the desktop mode. Do I think they

That's about the right size for a B-52 in terms of scale since it about matches the one they've got in the hangar at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH. Also the wings on the B-52 sit a bit back from the front and sweep backwards meaning they could easily stay out of view in a photo like this one.

3TB of the 4TB used on my home server, and 2.5TB of 3TB used on my desktop. I've been considering picking up another 3TB drive since I saw a Seagate for $120 recently. Pretty much the only thing holding me back at this point is their newly shitty warranty, and since I've had to replace roughly half the Seagate

Perfect timing! I'm getting ready to move in with a friend, and so I'm gonna pick one of these up to store my food separately and to have a fridge in my game room/office. The Magic Chef was already the one I'd picked, so it's good to know its going to be the right choice.

I guess that would explain my sudden urge to make tacos for lunch today.

Honestly as soon as I got the expanded bass pair I switched over entirely to them. I actually can't seem to find the normal pair right now to give them another comparison, but I remember that there was a pretty noticeable difference between the two. Most of that difference was in the bass as the name difference
