It shouldn't matter because all the iPads run on the same networks simply with different methods of connecting. Unless a major city or region has nothing but a single version of the iPad there should be no effect on the overall results.

Yeah that's definitely a possibility, but while it may be true it still shows that buying the iPad 3 for its LTE isn't necessarily a good idea yet. Also, the fact that the iPad 3 is apparently getting slower 3G speeds than the iPad 2 says something as well.
The real question is what is he wearing underneath that suit? Is that a little bit of red I see?
I've got to say I never really got into the series until the last one on the PSX, but I would definitely pick up the collection if they released it.
Actually legal torrent traffic *should* be completely unaffected. If I'm getting the general idea of this process it still requires the MPAA, RIAA, or copyright holders to tell your ISP that you are downloading copyrighted material. Then they start doing all this stuff. Since the MPAA, RIAA, etc shouldn't have any…
Wow, and I just realized I completely forgot to actually answer your question in that last comment. Encrypting you're traffic won't work because you still have to connect using your own current IP address to download from the other users, but a torrent box or VNC should still work as long as the company you're…
Sadly I had to stop reading that Forbes article after they tried to do the usual claim that the 10,000,000 or so illegal downloads of Fast Five lost that company $40 million which is absolute bullshit. I may or may not have pirated games for my DS for the short time I owned one, and I can tell you right now that I…
I believe the way this is going to work is that the MPAA, RIAA, or whatever media group it is that's bitching about illegal downloading will send a notice to your ISP stating that the user that had such and such IP address at such and such time and date was illegally downloading copyrighted content. Your ISPs…
Actually I think it would be more accurate to say the MPAA and RIAA are judge and jury, and that the cable companies have been turned into their voluntary bitc... sorry, executioners. I believe it's US only since both of these organizations are US based if I recall correctly. It's not really a privacy violation…
Two of you have failed the Futurama reference test. Please remove your electronium hats and return to the forest, or go for an MBA.
I understood nothing after the first paragraph. I think I need to get all my audiophile friends to translate this for me... then again they would probably confuse me even more...
My desk is quite a mess, and I've literally got so many cables in, on, and around it I don't know where all of them go or what they belong to. As you can see I've got my two 26" monitors each running at 1920x1200 resolution (great for when I need to write code for school!). Then I've got my Logitech 2.1 speaker…
Wait, they actually have water in vending machines in Japan?! When the hell did this change? I lived on Okinawa for three years, and I can't for the life of me recall a single time where I found just plain old water in a vending machine anywhere on that island. Sure they had that mineral water stuff which is great…
Yep. Physics, doing Darwin's dirty work since the dawn of time.
The show is done, but BattleBots does live on. When I was in high school we participated in a BattleBots IQ tournament that pitted a bunch of 15 lb robots against each other. I remember my team actually made one kid cry because the hole saw that was our main weapon literally pulled a wheel engine straight out of his…
If it can be done on literally every major Operating System for non-mobile devices then it can be done for mobile operating systems. This is my biggest issue with Apple. They don't give you the choice of whether or not you want to do something they simply make the decision for you and then charge you a premium for…
Once could very well argue that whole superior apps and experiences thing. When was the last time you compiled any code on your non-jailbroken iPad? When was the last time you installed an emulator for the PSX, N64, Sega Genesis, SNES, NES, etc. on your non-jailbroken iPad? While you enjoy your rather limited…
I will point out that while officially the Transformer Prime doesn't support SDXC cards it in fact does. This means that you can have up to 128GB of storage in the tablet itself plus another 128GB if you have the dock (regular SDXC memory card). Of course that storage capacity will just continue to grow as SDXC…
The general idea of his comment wasn't necessarily that it needs to have a 1920x1080p resolution, but rather that simply doubling the resolution and then doubling the size of everything to match makes it look clearer but has no other benefit. If they were to allow people to up the resolution but keep the size of…
