Everyone has been friendly so far, but from time to time you get a person who either ignores the team comp and/or picks a character somebody already picked.

Here’s a tip: when playing as Mercy, don’t forget the pistol. I’m not saying go commando and flank the enemy like Tracer, but if you are alone, always have out the pistol to defend yourself. If you see an enemy flanking your healee from behind and your team is oblivious, call it out over the comms and attempt to flush…

Bastion isn’t a problem, it’s the synergies with Bastion that are causing me headaches. Bastion + Reinhardt and Bastion + Mercy are the combos that are extremely difficult for an uncoordinated team to take out.

I’d say that they will help a fair amount. Some characters are reminiscent of TF2 characters like Torbjorn with the Engineer, Widowmaker with the Sniper, Tracer with the Scout, and Pharah with the Soldier, to name a few. My favorite character in Overwatch is probably Zenyatta. So satisfying just tossing orbs at everyone and reciting cheesy monastical advice.
