UI design is like writing a story. Everyone thinks they can do it, but only the very talented can produce something excellent. It’s an underappreciated challenge.

I loved it when I’d hear someone say something like “Herp derp body on the bridge near Elliot Hospital” I’d then shift over to around than area scan the roofs with DV and find it, same goes with tracking Man-Bat or all of the context clues stuff with the Fire Fighters and Azareal. It certainly beats always hearing…
I had to use this. I died while trying to take the watchtower on top of the hospital, and it respawned me inside the model of the hospital itself, which made me constantly fall through the level, with no recourse. Had to restart and use a backup save, which started me a couple of minutes behind.
I downloaded Arkham Knight’s “PS4-exclusive” retro skins for Batman and his car and I’m considering sticking with…
I worked on this. You don’t actually want to know...
Just imagine how much money was spent on all the IP Lawyer time to make this game.
Also, as someone that works in the IT industry, let me point out that pirating a video game for learning purposes can bring major pain to the school district. Under IP law if your organization uses pirated or unlicensed software and “proper protocols” aren’t in place to control it the organization can be on the hook…
Do you ever regret killing the Dreamcast?
I think the issue is further muddied by the fact that a lot of people who are virulently anti-piracy are totally cool with buying used games, even though the people who actually make the games get the same $0 from a used copy that they get from a pirated copy.
Your pirating of movies and TV shows can really be summed up as “I am entitled and think I should get things on my terms. Clearly, I give more shits about my own personal philosophy than giving you money on terms you as the rightsholder have dictated.”
Poor people shouldn’t be denied high end sports cars because they can’t afford it after all.
All the BC ones will. I’m in the preview and a ton (super meat boy, geometry wars, battleblock theater, banjo kazooie, and banjo tooie) all carried over. Pretty sure as they add more, your library will automatically update accordingly. It’s actually really nice and automatic, so I’m excited as more digital titles…
I had a hearty laugh at that one.
People pirate video games (or music, or movies) because there is very very little, if any chance of consequence, period-end-of-story. They just happen to be the only items that are available for you purchase both physically digitally.
Holy crap the entitled people in this world. I had some sympathy for those the riaa was after for music. No more. Get them. Sue the living fuck out of them. They don’t care who they rob so I don’t care what happens to them. Next they will justify other crimes because they deserve them.
Those are usually the mental midgets that don’t quite grasp that gaming is a want not a need
I’m glad someone else noticed this. When you want something, you are obligated to have it no matter what, wealth be damned.
Poor people should be allowed to enjoy games, music, and movies as well, as anyone else. No one should be denied something because they can’t afford it.
I can't afford a 4k TV. I should not be denied this. Meet me at the local best buy at midnight if you agree
I didn’t include Microsoft-owned games because it seemed like a given.
