Agreed. Everyone just recycles the same memes with mild alterations. I don't go to Steam for memes, why devalue a useful system by up-voting reviews because they were funny?

It lets me program in C#, which is a Microsoft thing, thus it's enough of an association for MS-haters to rally behind.

Probably because it involves Microsoft. That's enough for many people to say something is a pile of garbage with know actual knowledge of the product.

A whopping four months of that time, then, will be spent making sure the footage is as "pristine" as possible.

Firefall beta, kept my characters. Dead Island: Epidemic will keep my beta characters. Dragon's Prophet let me keep my beta characters.

Because the next games haven't even been released yet. You're complaining that you don't have access to unreleased games.

It's a digital download of the title, which you can only access if your EA subscription is active. Much like PS+ with its free games that you can't play if you stop subscribing, except with a larger possible library where you can't "miss" a game by not downloading it in time.

Such harsh limitations! Accepting a couple user agreements and maintaining the same subscription you need to play online! And OMG!!! You have to register an ORIGIN account?! Oh wait, most EA games do that for the out-of-game or cross-platform content.

Yeah, they totally released last year's FIFA and Madden Xbox One games (?!)

$30 a year gets you delayed access to EA's games. You can't play them at launch, but will get them eventually. If you play a lot of different EA games and are looking to lower your budget and don't mind not owning the games, it's right up your alley.

Yeah, just like Netflix supplanted BluRay and movie theatre sales! Now I can't find a DVD ANYWHERE!!!

Yeah, it's a chance to try games I wouldn't pay $20 for in the bargain bin. I'll probably subscribe later on when there's wider availability. I don't play sports games (but would if I were subscribed) and already own most of the EA titles on Xbox One that I would want to play.

Or you could just not subscribe and buy your game discs if you're so opposed to it.

Exactly, PS+ is EA Access with a broader POTENTIAL library, but a very limited actual library. Unless you've been with them from the start and auto-downloading all the games, you get to sit and wait to find out what games your subscription is paying for each month.

Just going off past experience. I wasn't sure either way, nor did I really mind either outcome. But it was a possibility in my mind, maybe 40/60 against.

I said it was easier, not simplistic or drag-and-drop. Just because some developers can't multi-platform to save their life, doesn't mean the tools aren't there to expedite the process.

Because it's an IP. They didn't stop calling the Halo games Halo when it became about non-Halo-y things.

I know, right? Since when did the type of enemy define the game? Do we compare Wolfenstein to Saboteur because they're both Nazi games? When's the last time someone sat down and analyzed the differences between Halo and Warhammer: Dawn of War because they're Space Marine games?

It's a great co-op game in an industry that focuses on competition. Playing it solo is alright, but playing with a friend or three makes it a lot more fun. I skipped Riptide after hearing it was mostly the same with a different story, but am excited for an actual sequel which may revamp some of the iffy mechanics as

It depends on the game. If it's a robust game with a wide-open world and dozens of mechanics going on simultaneously and hundreds of AI NPCs to walk around and such during the day... then yeah, there may be limitations.
