Well I don't know about most Android phones, but my wife and daughter's do not have external access to the SD card slot, so... perhaps this plugs in and makes you dangle a wire out of the case or something? I don't know. I don't get how this works.

I thought you meant the new version of SmartGlass could be rotated to landscape mode. I nabbed mine off the charge dock and started fiddling with it.
Fair enough. There are definitely instances where games that have expansive ideas are limited by old hardware; I think I recall hearing that Watch Dogs on the old consoles had a couple game mechanics taken out. But they were kept in the next-gen and PC versions.
Yeah... so difficult to tap and drag things. When you're resorting the items and see them in motions, it's VERY obvious what is first and second and last in the list.
I'm sure it'll come to the console when they figure out a clean way to do it with a controller. "Smartglass only" is a bit of a silly thing to say, since you can get Smartglass on almost any mobile phone or computer. I'd be surprised if anyone who owns an Xbox One doesn't also have SOME device that can run SmartGlass.
Yeah, I love popping it up on my laptop since I don't own a tablet :( Just wish more developers used SmartGlass for their second screens instead of Android/iOS apps.
I just pulled up Smartglass on my WinPhone, and it works the way you mentioned. Then again, there is no "swipe left from the main screen to see your pins." It's its own page from the menu.
It seems to cache the password verification locally if you're in offline mode. I have it on my laptop and even when out and about without WiFi, I can log in just fine.
The Windows Mail app supports any number of mail accounts. The reason the sign-in is there is the same reason you have to sign into PSN or Xbox Live. Many Windows 8 games use Xbox Live (tied to your Microsoft Account) as well as Skype and the Windows Store.
I can't say for sure, but I think the background customization may be on the way. It's recently been added to Windows Phone 8.1 and lets you still use the Live Tile functionality, but replacing the solid background colour with the segment of the background image.
I like Windows 8 and have trouble going back to 7 now. There are lots of nice shortcuts, the Start Menu is handy if you make use of Live Tiles, and the cross-platform capabilities are nice. Some games/apps operate in a "purchase on one platform, play on all" scheme.
No kidding. I'm not sure how it is on iOS/Android stores, but the Windows Phone store can be frustrating to get realistic reviews on.
Can we please stop shining a flashlight on retards who flood Steam's review system with useless reviews that get upvoted for the lulz? Seriously, "Did a thing with a thing, 10/10" tells me nothing but "Hey I see other people do this and get lots of internet points. I want internet points, too!!!!"
Zelda is a tricky set to make, I'd think. I played all the games up to Ocarina of Time and I've been sitting here thinking to myself "What set-pieces would they use?" There aren't really any iconic Zelda buildings or locations because they get redone every game. Maybe a fairy cave or something, but... even the castles…
As always, the moral of the story: Don't sue Nintendo. You will lose.
You can melee/tackle someone with the B button from about the same distance as a realistic taser could fire. Same non-lethal takedown without the aiming or ammo replenishment, and a more satisfying animation to end a chase with than "pop... zzt... crumple to the floor."
I'm not done with this site yet, but I'm getting there. It seems that it's just full of fanboys who enjoy ranting against things that are similar to their favourite things. It's become a place for Sony/Nintendo fanboys to pat each other on the back.
And what about the white people that are illiterate? Or the white homeless bum? I'm ever so deeply offended by that! *rolls eyes*
A hundred times yes. GTA V was an awful experience for me as a human being with empathy and a desire to actually DO things in this giant map. I stopped playing the campaign after Trevor's torture mission because I felt literally sick. There was NO option to not torture, but hey, 9.0+ all around! Oh Watch Dogs' map is…
