No, amazing would be the Origin games strategy guides that were actually full-fledged novels that incorporated the walkthrough into them.

The problem is that all those alternate universes are why DC has to streamline every decade or so.

No joke. Messing with alternate universes was why they had to do Crisis in the first place.

I would hit up Amazon and pick up the Justice League International tpbs. Granted, the humor is different than a lot of DC, but you get a great deal of the characters back when comic writing wasn't terrible and the comics are pretty funny.
