I wish we could resurrect the word antomasia/antomasy in the sense of substituting a person's title for their name. There's really no equivalent in daily use.

I was going to answer your question, but KITTY! Squee! Oh whosdacuuutestkittyinthewholeb...!?

And I'm still incapable of reading it as anything other than "untie," which pretty much ruins it.

@bansaiiiiii: $100,000 over four years, even! Unless my calculations are wrong, that's a whopping $25k a year.

@Treeless: Seriously. He rocks the bald look. It emphasizes that he has bone structure (facial, people) to die for.

Oh eff that. My kids will get a shot at living as they are, and that's all I can give them. So what if there are some ugly genetic bits in there that they might inherit? @TheFormerJuneBronson: It's the "Hey, I can do better than that!" response. hen I used to write and needed inspiration, I would read truly terrible stuff. It worked like a charm for quite a while.

When I was unemployed for a while I fell into a terrible depression. Ugh. It suggests that I would be an awful housewife.
