God, I wish.

All I can think when I see that picture is just how small his hands are...

Hey man, I agree with you - no need to beat up on me. But join the club, I guess.

That’s a good point - I hope that doesn’t get buried

Yea I just saw her tweet. She said she rejected it due to an inability to verify, not sure about other journos, though. I suspect some of them were still working to verify, at least that’s what it sounded like from a Guardian article I was reading earlier today

And the thing that kills me is that it widens the gap between media and public when we (and I say this as a member of both) need verifiable, credible news more than ever now.

Speaking as a member of the traditional media/journalism world: we are fucking PISSED.

I know. Do you ever listen to him speak and think, “Well I must be dead and/or in the Twilight Zone because there is no way in hell this can be real.”

He has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old

This sounds kind of weird but honestly, it was when I could finally buy REAL presents for people. Usually, when I was broke and in college + the next few years, I could only buy crappy half-presents for people. When I finally started saving my money and not going out so much, I realized I could get real presents.

I kind of.... love that

Me, going into this post: “oh boy, what fresh hell now.”

Ughhhh that body lotion is to die for. It’s so damn pricey but I bought my mom some of the sleepy lotion for christmas (the one that smells like lavender) and she’s obsessed with it now.

Okay your comment and other comments are making me feel better. I only said the “tween” thing because my friend told me that only teens/tweens use Lush. I was sort of bummed because it’s my go-to store. Their products are wonderful! and yes they’re expensive, but they feel so good and they’re so natural and I love them

Hey me too! Fellow Classics minor/majors unite! (By “essay” I meant that I wrote my thesis on her... haha)

Ugh me too. But I got total side-eye from my friend the other day because she said it’s for tweens. I just like the fucking colors and smells OKAYYYYYY?!?!?

I STILL use that (sometimes) and I’m in my 20s. I will say that I thought it must be doing something because of how popular it is. But I used it frequently through my teens and early 20s and when I switched to Lush facial scrub, my skin finally cleared up.

I actually laughed out loud. Bravo

Wonderfully written and so true.

Yo, I am trying so hard to get him into the idea. I grew up in Vermont where pot was basically like water. He’s a little apprehensive but I think that when he gets back to his apartment he might be more open to it. We’ll see....
