I am not misunderstanding. There is no legal reason why families cannot go to Hooters. There is no nudity. You don't have to bring your family there if you think its offensive or inappropriate, but that doesn't mean other people can't.

I explained this earlier, I was not disrespecting strippers or implying that they give blow jobs, I was just giving two things that do not happen at Hooters. But saying a waitress in a skimpy outfit needs the same no kids rule as a stripper is an inaccurate comparison

Yea, they can call themselves that IF THEY WANT. And guess what, you still don't have to go there!! Amazing!!

Wow.

The behind the scenes part of Hooters is a whole different story, I commented on a different story a long time ago about my manager offering me two tampons so I could "really plug it up!!" on a day I was working while on my period. There was also a lot of sexually inappropriate behavior between my managers and the

I didn't mean that to imply that strippers give blow jobs, I was giving examples of things that Hooters girls don't do. Strip or prostitute themselves. I didn't mean for that to sound like I was implying strippers do that, sorry if it came across that way. I love strippers and strip clubs, I have a pole in my house,

That all happened years after I worked there, but they said "vicarious" sexual entertainment. Meaning fantasy. Not actual sexual acts. I get that people find it odd, but really, if you wouldn't go there anyway, why do you care what they refer to themselves as?

How am I wrong? There is nothing that takes place there that a child under 18 can't see. The waitresses are not hired for "sexual entertainment", as that would imply that they are doing something other then serving chicken wings and beer and other food. They wear skimpy outfits, yes, but wearing small clothes does not

What is my "losing argument"? That you shouldn't give a fuck what they call themselves, you can either go there or not?

I'm sorry, also, can you show me where it is legally defined as a place women are hired to act as sexual entertainment? Cause I was hired to serve food.

OMG its called Hooters?

So this lawyer's argument is basically if you consent to go hang out with boys you are giving consent for them to do anything they want to you? FUCK THAT SHIT

I'm not "pushing" anything. I'm just saying they can call themselves whatever they want. There is nothing that they do that makes you unable to take children there with you, that is a decision you make on your own, so why care what they call themselves?

Why does only hiring based on their looks make them not a family restaurant? My point is they can call themselves anything they want. Lots of families go there, lots don't. What difference does it make what they call themselves? They aren't naked, there is no reason they need to put an 18+ sign on there door, they can

Then you don't have to take your kids there. They can call themselves a family restaurant if they want, but its not like you are therefore obligated to take your kids there, so why do you care? Also, Hooters has never advertised itself as a "place to have your kid's birthday party".

Sex appeal = pretty. I guess you never go to the beach or a pool, cause all those harlots are running around in way less clothes than a Hooters girl.

I'm sorry, but please look at the picture at the top of the article. One out of the three girls has huge boobs and that's how it is at most Hooters. Shit, I'm barely a B cup. And those tank tops are the same as any girl walking down the street would wear minus the logo. And no, the tights are not transparent. They are

Not at all. There would be a few here and there, but I think that happens at any restaurant. Seriously, the only people who treat the waitresses like objects are the people complaining about how degrading being a Hooters girl is.

Its not like they are wearing thongs and serving food. They are wearing the same kind of tank top that their mother is probably wearing. Also, lots of women go into Hooters. If you find Hooters offensive I'm assuming you'd never take your kid to a pool or the beach either.
