It’s not intriguing at all, it’s China thinking it matters.

The ones that manufacture there aren’t that profitable. The numbers look good, but it’s more about market share than anything else. Even the sales figures they show in dollars excludes a lot of expenses and completely disregards the costs of moving money back to the US.

I can’t stand the trackball like crap either, but I’m not a touchscreen fan either. Give me a knob or a button that i can feel and operate while im driving.

Between you and Trump guess who isn’t a multi-millionaire or just got elected President. Whatever he’s doing it’s been working.

Clearly you’re still butt hurt over Trump’s win. But with the space program I think he might be easier to work with than you expect. Ideology aside, he’s a builder, a creator, that’s been his career and joy since he was a kid. I think if the space sciences people don’t spend all their time trying to make snarky

You think the people who buy our food exports will just stop? What will they eat? It’s not there’s some oversupply of food on the world market.

What drop in the market are you referring to? Looks just like it did this time yesterday. Or last week. Or the week before. In fact as I write this the day after it’s up almost 200 points on the DOW.

I work for an auto manufacturer that is not unionized and we make more than anyone except Mercedes. Our benefits are fully funded. We don’t have layoffs. Your argument makes no sense what so ever. Point out the auto maker in the US that isn’t unionized but is under-payed. You can’t because there isn’t one. The union

There are 2 problems I see with your perspective that seems to cause you some pain.

Maybe if we didn’t judge every vehicle with 0-60 times, top speed and HP we could have more efficient, lighter and safer cars all at the same time.

Woohoo! Natural selection at work.

“I never died once while driving/riding in the old “unsafe” cars”...

What does women’s rights have to do with air pollution?

You’re so clever with your idiotic comments

Partly what Raskos said, but also the signs are intended for us to read. Anytime they can make the 6 o’clock news in NY with some sob story they know they can bilk the US out of some cash. Making dumb Americans feel guilty is a multi-billion dollar a year industry in the 3rd world.

At least China is trying to curb their dependence on coal, not so much for India. Anything and everything than can burn is burned.

I’d be for a 35,000HP turbo diesel in the family van.

Need the Thorium reactors man. Easy to mine and low radiation fuel, no meltdown risk, no thousands of years of storing spent fuel. Lets get this done.

Someone has to manufacture the solar cells. And the cars have to be manufactured, not clean, And the batteries have to be disposed of or recycled, not clean on either front. Not to mention the CO2 footprint for manufacturing and transporting them and their feed materials. And a solar array only produces electricity a

And hydro completely uproots the surrounding ecosystem.
