You base your opinions solely off of NPR propaganda?

Your response is factual, and I 100% agree with the last paragraph. History is a bitch, especially there. The British Empire fought 2 Afghan wars before 1900. The Crusades raged for 400 years. There were wars before there was a Christ or a Muhammad. My guess is there will be wars over that useless sand until there are

Let’s just clear the air here a bit. First, Toyota isn’t just laying off Scion people and making them apply for other jobs.. That’s BS and just not how it’s done here. The very few people who are Scion specific are being transitioned to other positions

You really need to study your history a bit if you think Bush41 was the start of what’s going on here. That typical libtard BS makes you sound like a moron. He didn’t help the situation for sure, but a couple thousand years of other stupid, short sided, selfish, megalomaniacs ahead of him makes just about any action

So true. Racing should be the fastest car/driver/team combination wins, period. I also keep hearing that it’s to manage costs so no one can just spend there way to a championship, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. The teams just pour more money into into smaller things.

Will.i.am just placed his order for 13 of them!!!

Patrick, as an auto industry worker, Jalopnik reader, occasional commenter, I would like to just say thank you and and the Kinja crew for taking a stand against this kind of corporate bullying. I don’t know HondAnonymous, and I’m not even sure I’ve seem him/her post before, but people should have the right to speak

Agreed. Everyone assumes mass transit = no private autos. I lived in Europe for 3 years for work, and even though there was subway, surface rail and buses, almost everyone still owned a car. At least 1 per family. Public transportation is great, I truly loved the convenience going from my apartment to work. I really

Road hand.....

They could have at least made it a round-a-bout. At least there would be some actual reasoning behind the circle shape.

I agree with you as far as being against the change, but not for the same reasons. I’m FOR safety, and I don’t think intentionally making racing more dangerous ever makes sense, ever. And to be honest, no one sees Lewis Hamilton’s face braving it out anyway, those guys are in full helmets already, and they can’t even

3rd Gear: President Obama Visits Detroit

Absolutely. FWD with a sane driver is the best snow car. Big SUVs and trucks are high centered, over weight, front heaving coffins, especially with people that think just because they have 4WD they don’t need to be careful.

You do that by downshifting and taking your foot off the gas. Its more of a myth that it does anything spectacular. In reality you are just using your drive wheels to provide a little drag. Same thing as if you only had brakes on half of your car and pushed the pedal gently, unless your 4wd, then its like your pushing

Whoa, I thought you said tit blind at first. Now that would be tragic. Assuming your a guy at least. Or a girl friendly girl.

It will be to anyone who owns the stock during the period the payouts cover, new or old.

Good comment. I think a lot of the negative response is a bit unwarranted. This might be unpractical for most people, but it wasn’t built for most people. It’s an outrageous thing for sure, but an amazing study in design and engineering. Someone needs to do these things for the pure purpose of figuring out how to do

And before the Jalopnik sticker set.

Maybe you haven’t heard of the NX? Or the new RX?

Even better would be a 3.5 ecoboost. It’s not that difficult to tune to 400hp, and weight advantages over a V8, especially a big block would make a serious modern monster.
