Or just cut Michele back to one vacation a month this year. Should more than cover it.

Umm, Opel was seized by the Nazi government during WW2. After the war GM had to completely rebuild the Rüsselsheim plant where Opel was based. It had to be rebuilt because the Allies bombed it. So no, GM did not build trucks and other things for the Nazis.

I do work in the automotive manufacturing industry, and from my specific vantage point I find it nearly impossible to believe he doesn’t know they were cheating in some way. Yes it’s a very hierarchical and complicated business, but issues like EPA compliance, safety ratings, manufacturing costs, etc., they are

And they aren’t ground up designed electrics either, they are electric drivetrain in a regular chassis. In that case the Toyota RAV4 EV also beat them.

You called it right. Even outside Gawker it’s the left or the right trying to spin every word to suit their own agenda. This is the closest thing to actual reporting I’ve seen in a while.

Just crap talking there pal. The only electronic change was an extra security measure that cut the accelerator when the brake is applied. The brakes would hold, the update was to cut the accelerator in addition.

Why would they sue the dealerships? The dealer didn’t supply the floor mats. And there is a warning, even pre-publicity, that says not to use aftermarket mats over the factory ones. The buyers are at fault for that one.

I doubt that’s what they are investigating. Whether or not they are properly licensed and insured by someone allowed to drive here is another question. There is also the question of whether these particular examples are US spec cars, or illegally imported.

Now for a dose of realism. Turn this crazy wing design upside down and put it in on a race car, maybe even a million dollar super car, and you have some pretty cool adaptive aerodynamics. Thinner air foils tuck down tight where there is little drag down the Mulsanne, fully deployed for maximum down force through the

Hey man, don’t give them any crazy ideas. They already interrupt the cable with weather statements, amber alerts, regular tests. I think it’s timed to when I’m trying to dvr something. My phone gets alerts. The radio gets alerts. ow many ways do we have to have some government morons deciding when to interrupt our day

You might be onto something, Marchionne feigning interest in a merger with GM to get someone else’s attention. I have a sneaking suspicion that Sergio has seen the numbers going forward for FCA and it’s just not good. Despite the recent successes with Dodge, and the money tree at Jeep, once Ferrari is gone FCA I can’t

But testosterone yo!

Come on man, you know why this story is here. An empowered modern woman takes no shit from fat whit guy. That could have been the headline. But the reality is he still took her damn car, and since the cops wrecked it her insurance will make it hell on her getting paid for it. But hey, gotta tell all the tough girl

I really like the vision, and I agree 100% about the current state of auto journalism. Such a boring, copy/paste jungle that it’s not worth trying to dig through. I used to be a daily reader, now just a couple times a week. I won’t blame Kinja or the proximity to Jezebel and the other inflammatory rags, but yeah,

Maybe this is where they got the new Charger design.

Wrong on one point Seattle. The M2 Bradley destroyed more tanks than the Abrams in Desert Storm. But other than that, yes, the Abrams is a wickedly effective tank even if it is 40 years in service.

Dude I’ve been preaching the same thing. Just let me plug my phone into a cradle or something in the center stack and use what I already have instead of the clumsy infotainment nonsense. Or a slot to jack my phone to a larger built in auxiliary screen like you said.

So your argument is that multiple layers or bloat, skimming, profit taking, union fees, and general waste is good for the economy? You can’t be serious?

A couple of kettles and your favorite drinky girl.

You are so right. My dad was a manager at a factory when I was growing up. They closed the plant and moved manufacturing to China. Less than a year later they called him back, had to re-opened part of the plant. Not to manufacture, no they still do that in China. Instead they have to inspect the parts and repair them
