What about Speed3 and Speed Miata? Fiat is gonna have a fast Miata so maybe part of their partnership will bleed over for that?

I like the way the CX-3 does it.

I think that in production it will shrink. If you compare the concept that previewed the KODO 6 and the production 6, its like they went over the car with a meticulous attention to detail to refine the design.

Other than Mazda, I think Japan completely lacks automotive designers at this time.

Hnnng. Mazda’s designers are killing it. They’re the only company that has been able to make swoopy, dramatic design into normal vehicles without looking over-wrought, busy, or fat. (Nissan, Lexus, new Honda Civic). Now...just show me the damn Mazdaspeed3 already...and a Miata with a fixed roof and an 8000+ rpm

I appreciate the star, and will monitor, all future comma use. Some days are better than others. This feels like a comma-laden day.

The production cars almost always ditch the donk wheels for more pedestrian offerings. I wouldn’t worry about that so much.

I was just thinking, we are heading towards some kind of wheel singularity. At some point, a car is going to be 90% wheels, with a tiny pod in the center, housing a person confined to the fetal position.

This has taken the crossover to the literal extreme. It is simply a wagon body, on ENORMOUS wheels. It looks good. But the wheels are too big.

What’s wrong? Are you saying you want a manual transmission electric vehicle? That’s not how these things work...

You pay a technology premium, sure. But, no one that has ever sat in or driven a Tesla thinks they’re junk. No one.

these are 100% the worst people in the jalopnik community. nobody gains anything from disparaging something that’s actually, and not ostensibly or arguably, great. it’s fucking stupid. tesla rules sorry.

The Model X can tow up to 5000 lbs with the available tow package.

Tesla. Let’s put that torque to work.

And if you had found my original post suggesting this, you’d find that I love it too.

But you cannot argue - Jeep owners are not to be pitied. Either you know what you’re getting and accept it and love it as I did (and you do), or you’re a moron and should have used a bit of common sense before buying pretty much the

You should let him know how bad driving his kids around in a car like that is.

There are always exceptions. Ownership stats suggest they’re still built like crap.

Oh my fucking God. Jaguar is British.

Well 4th gear likes you.
