They tried that already back in the 1980s with the CUCV, which was nothing more than a Chevy Blazer with the same diesel engine and they basically fell apart in military usage. I have hands-on wrenching experience with the Humvee and CUCV from the Mid to late 1990s and the CUCV was pretty terrible overall.

I love the 818 and this seems like a fair price considering it’s complete. I don’t have the free time to spend on building a kit and I would say this is a NP!

actually, I wouldnt change anything at all. Even if it technically is a street legal car, I’d still probably use it just as a track-day toy...NP on my end...(especially since we dont get these type of things here in Holland).
