I loved Rey and the rest of the crew after TFA. It’s not the characters - or the actors - I have a problem with. It’s the story/writing. Daisy had nothing to do with that.

Sure, and he does have a good rapport with his actors, and can write decent dialogue. He just isn’t that great at the big picture.
Say what you want about JJ, but he cast TFA extremely well.
yeah the main problem especially in 9 was that the film didn't really knownwhat it wanted tonfocus on so it just kind of ended up as a mess. Just imagine if they had actually followed through on the ending of 8 and instead the film was just about our trio scouting people for the new resistance?
I liked all the new characters in the sequels. I just wish they’d had more interesting things to do.
I’m still not convinced that the new animated series will ever see the light of day, but I’m glad he’ll be a part of it should it happen.
Or having no escape on the ship of a known scoundrel...
i still think they should have used Sasha Calle, but i get why they would want to distance themselves from the failure of the Snyderverse. like i trust Gunn but some of these decisions... guess i gotta wait
uh they didn’t kiss in rogue one. they embraced as the explosion neared but that was not a romantic embrace it was an embrace of terror at what was going to happen:
Yeah, at least they weren’t siblings.
Yes and then the authority movie will be them basically trying to reign in their aggressive ways and still go after the bad guys after getting humbled by Superman.
And we know Peele could have chimed in on how to direct a scene where an ape goes berzerk on some naughty humans.
I’ve always liked Patel so easy decision on checking this movie out.
They literally did that plot almost 30 years ago now. Shortly after arriving from AoA, Dark Beast captured and confined Hank and replaced him on the X-Men for like a year until X-Factor found the real Beast during the Onslaught storyline.
Indeed!
Did you pay attention to what Yoda was teaching Luke? Access to the Force is easy. Training oneself to be selfless and compassionate is the real struggle.
This is a reboot, I don’t think that disqualifies her.
Sasha Calle was the best part of The Flash (admittedly, not the highest bar), but sure, let’s recast, yet again.
I had a motorized meat slicer in my kitchen for years. Nothing over the top or industrial grade but it was great for more than just slicing meats; good for certain cheeses and veggies too. You could get paper-thin onion slices.
