While I am looking forward to this, I hope Timm doesn’t try to make Batman and Batgirl a thing.  That was the worst part of TAS and it made no sense and was just gross.

One of the things I love about face-to-face RPGs is that the rules are what the group wants them to be.  No one has to use any class, subclass, spell, rule, etc. that they don’t want to use, so long as the group is fine with it.

I know Cumming has said he had a bad experience making this movie, and it’s a damn shame because he was an amazing Nightcrawler. The kindness, the sensibility, the spirituality...and the opening in the White House was such a cool use of his powers.

My favorite thing about Highlander is that the opening monologue by Connery has a somewhat tinny quality. The reason is that it was recorded via phone by Connery using a bathroom as a sound booth. That bathroom was at the house of his Spanish accent coach.

Counterpoint: in an absolutely trash movie, Julia poured every last drop of talent into his performance while he was dying.

With a name like “Badlands”, I’d assume it’s a Predator Western? All the gunslingers get killed off and the “Farmer’s Daughter” takes it out. 

Huh, she’s a very good actress, but hardly what I think of for an action star.  Still... I didn’t think Prey would work and damn if it wasn’t great so I guess I will wait and see for this.

No? I’m not sure where you’re even getting that from. Unless you think his body is in and of itself a joke, but there’s been exactly 0 jokes about him being fat so far in the series and there’s none in this promo.
