Had a chance to play this at GenCon, it’s straight forward, at least as far as the demo went. I don’t think there’s any way to do measurements meaningfully, so I wouldn’t worry about that. There weren’t any dice or coin mechanics when I played, either. I mean, they could always add something in later, but for now,

They also sold stuff on the Pokemon Center website but sold out instantly as well.

Black Manta was by far the best thing in the first one, so I am very happy he’s the big bad this time around. The rest of the movie seems as loud and frantic as the last one, though. So fun on a first watch, but not worth a repeat. I’ll take it.

She’s a modern Colin Baker, in my perspective. Excellent actor, and could have been an even better Doctor, if only the writing had supported her. Maybe in a few years her Big Finish redemption will come, too...

oh she’s great and the issue was never with her as an actress, it was fully the writing.

I’m rewatching her tenure and I really liked what she did. I think the writing held her back but she is a gem.

Ultimately an increase in pay isn't a huge concession. The studios are rich and a small decrease in profits is a pretty easy pill to swallow, especially if it's only for the short to medium term. It's the parts about how the industry is controlled that are the bigger issue for both sides. If the studios can get away

... I’m not the only who still thinks it’s weird that they retconned Babs and Buster to be twins, right?

Part of the problem with these films now is that particular audience has shrunk considerably. Maybe if you go on a Tuesday, you can get 3-4 tickets and some snacks and keep the trip under $40. The numbers actually seem to bear that out, as Tuesdays show a spike for the last few weeks. But for the most part, people

Oh, Rock made sure to let everyone know he/Black Adam would not be slumming to Shazam..... Right before that movie tanked that side of DC.

I like his earlier movies, but unfortunately he seems to have lost the touch of how to make a propulsive movie that tells its story without beating around the bush. If Rebel Moon comes in under 2.5 hrs then it’s got a much better chance of being good. But given that Army of the Dead came in at 2.5hr I’m not holding

The plan: Make D&D a huge multimedia brand.

On Twitter they’re rallying for him to join the MCU, mostly as Captain Britain but also Cyclops or Sentinel. I wonder if he might be done with the superhero experience, at least for a little while — all this DC business would leave a bad taste in anybody’s mouth.

Would be nice to see him in something original, playing

More Enola movies please!

Yeah, none of the issues with the Superman movies had anything to do with Cavill’s performance. They were just poorly written/directed at the end of the day.

As much as I hate him, I’d love to see Spielberg do Superman.

My DM made a mimic take on the form of a house...A HOUSE!!! Thus I have trust issues within his campaign.

Looks fun.

What I really love about this is they seem to know exactly what kind of movie this is and just owns it.

Tarnsformers 4 can’t be topped. I don’t mean can’t be topped by another Transformers movie — I mean it is the pinnacle of human artistic achievement. Bach? Michelangelo? The pyramids? Those were just for practice.
