I mean, I disagree. Look at the rise of fascism currently, as people dress up like homelander at MAGA rallies.

It’s simple really. The pandemic and corporate greed for all the streaming money killed theaters. And then inflation and greed since streaming didn’t bring in the same revenue killed streaming... so now we gotta get people back in the theaters.

I am still excited for the Alcolyte, but I’m not loving this push to popularize the dark side of the force.

I know the issue. Slott’s and Allred’s run on Silver Surfer was one of the best I think. It kept the original Kirby feel while leaning into the absurd. I love that the board finally got a name.

To be fair, some actors do take things a little too far

when this was first announced I was super excited to hear that Jennifer Garner in her goofy 50s was cast as silver surfer.
