This is what makes a Hario setup so damn good. It is pricey, but the even control I get with the water flow absolutely makes this a great purchase. Another piece of very solid equipment that I plan on using for years.

I bought this for my wife so that she could have green tea brewed at the correct temperature. A fantastic device, used almost every day for a year, with great temp control and no problems of any kind. Also used to boil water for my pour-over coffee setup.

I use these to make my morning coffee, along with the kettle and a couple of good scales (one that is accurate to tenths of a gram, the other just to the gram). It makes consistently excellent coffee every time.

I have owned this grinder for about 2 years, and it is very very good. It is capable of grinding fine coffee for espresso well enough for home use. It provides a good consistent grind particle size. It's easy to clean.

The Belgians are fucking brilliant at brewing interesting and flavorful beer with tons of personality. When I think of "reassuringly Belgian" beer I think of crazy, daring, and innovative flavor.
