I’ve been fantasizing about NASCAR running an all road course series since I was in middle school. God it would be awesome.

Any time I see V8 Supercars coverage, I sigh and think about what NASCAR could be. I just watched that clip with no sound and it was already exciting.

He was pitted as the outsider because he’s from Las Vegas and not some traditional NASCAR breeding ground (IL, FL, GA, VA, NC). And at 31 he’s the all-time win leader in the Xfinity (by a near a factor of 2), 2nd all-time in the truck series, and top 20 all-time in the cup series.

There are are legitimate electric supercharger systems, unfortunately 99% of what’s out there is snake oil like you posted.

They already are! The caveat is they only really work on smaller displacement engines, and while they’re good for low to mid-range power gains you see a fall-off at the top.

People need to understand Saleen just blinks in and out of existence at will. They’re not bound by conventional corporate finances in much the same way as electrons don’t obey Newtonian mechanics.
