This could pretty much go for any vehicle that has held a land speed record in the last 50 years, along with a lot of professional bonneville teams.

I agree. This type of mods should be banned for two reasons:

It’s a bit like if I was to open a restaurant that you can only pay through an app. I would sell booze the same price as in liquor store and wouldn’t pay the alcohol permit other restaurants are forced to pay.

Gotcha. In that case, you know you have to go completely old school and have a backseat Pong championship to see who wins control of the whirly-wheel.

Optional deployable arm & thumb wrestling arena: $5500.

Do you mean that you get to play Games @Thrones?

FUCK. I really want to hate this show out of respect for Clarkson and Co.

“Wait, it’s WHAT-wheel-drive?”

I hope your first picture of you with your Model T features a full beard, spectacles, and a vest. Stop shaving Doug, these things take time...

I just want to point out, the Model T is still under consideration. Deciding between counting stars and not counting stars was a data problem, but it has no bearing on the final choice. The Model T still did well, and it’ll still be considered.

Yep, that’s exactly what I thought. I saw the Model T post, and since it had a bajilion votes I thought, well shit, I’m just gonna give this a star because it’s an awesome idea and I’ll make Doug’s life a little easier because he can just count the stars instead of sorting through a million different posts.

I think that more then the model T itself the IDEA of you driving something really old (like 70 yrs old) was appealing

I am definitely considering the Model T. I saw the reaction it got on Jalopnik, and

Precisely. Believe me, I won’t and can’t pick solely on volume of suggestions. As an example: Supra finished fourth. I get that a lot of fans I may have attracted while I had the Skyline are interested in the Supra, but I personally want/need to branch out. Even if Supra had finished first, I wouldn’t have picked it.

Here’s the problem with starring: only the highest posts get starred, and it dramatically, insanely skews the data. Nobody is going to sift through more than 10-20 posts and find the car they want. Literally nobody.

Yeah same, I didn’t bother making my own post because that one already defined it so well. It was so much easier to just hit the star and be done with it. I didn’t think Doug would actually literally read every post lol.

I agree with you, but to make sure it counted more than once I made a separate comment about it also.

Yeah! Are stars not endorsements??

That name though. Makes it sound like some new form of birth control.
