Fact! With a diet adjustment and fartlek running I lost 30 pounds in 6 months 3 years ago. I’ve kept it off by switching to long distance running and remaining on the same dietary plan. I don’t call it a diet, it was a lifestyle adjustment.

Maybe this is why we don’t have much to talk about at the Holidays - no one talks personal finance! I’ll be sure to spice it up this weekend and report back on findings.
I seriously do. I was so adamant that we put something away for the kids for college. We have 2 kids - 6.5 and 3.5 and they have way more coming their way for college than I had. I still owe $27k but it’s under control.
This makes me feel great about the $100/month we’re putting away for each kid since they were born.
Debt Free hasn’t been updated in 2 years. Not sure why but I’d be hesitant to purchase an app that hasn’t been updated in that long.
Nothing on Ilhan Omar???
Still shouldn’t have tried to throw that ball across his body. Could have walked the couple of feet for the first down.
I would guess that 100% of the people that took out 30 year mortgages did not intend to pay off in 15.
F-Minus anyone? Maybe it’s not out anymore. Was my fav.
I bought Dark Sky recently because of all the hype and I gotta say I’m a bit “meh” about it. I live in the midwest and its the summer. So yeah, it’s hot and humid. The UV index is nice but its been pretty much a miss for predicting precipitation. Last Saturday it rained all day - I think it was 1.73 inches at the…
Just went through this with my employer. It took nearly 6 months and about 4 meetings to hammer it out but it done last week. I ended up with a base pay increase of 10%, I asked for 15%, and some multipliers for projects I work on went from 1 to 1.5 and 1.75 to 3. I brought a ton of data on similar jobs and ultimately…
You’re golden. Thank you. I don’t spend much time on the ‘book these days but I still get the emails about event notifications waiting for me and it makes me think it is something I should pay attention to.
How do I get the a-hole family member that needs to invite me to everything to stop inviting me to everything. I want to de-friend them because it’s family but seriously stop with the invites!
Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, not MI
4 is good. 4th in the country. That’s better than NYC according to the chart.
F these rankings. Call me a stubborn Northern-er but anyone who puts Mpls at 79th for Quality of Life is focused on the 1 time a year we make national news for it being cold and/or snowy. The rest of the time it’s amazing here.
you NEVER plan enough in the budget. never fails. even if you are only doing a $100 project it turns into $200. without. a. doubt.
Even the birds are poor and in the way of the hipsters at AT&T
FACT! Their father-in-law taught them and then they figured it out. You need to be taught and then you need to figure it out so you can be a future father-in-law (or mother-in-law).
I think I’m new to the panic attacks. Let me explain, maybe someone here can chime in. I should just go to the doctor.
