I can't do that, SSE, she's my mom. But, yes, horrible landlord. I'm trying to decide where to flee to if the pipes do burst. The lower ground already flooded. The higher ground is threatening to.

I live in a land locked state, so that would be unusual. But, there is an artificial lake at the end of the street, and pretty soon my house will be in the lake. Should be a party, with 4 dogs/3 cats/3 lizards on board.
That's the whole article. On the original article, they at least had a copy of the roster. Are we simple English too simple to understand a roster?
Yes, I am starting another new thread and no one is awake to learn of my impending demise. Regular Yuni followers know I don’t live in a very good house. And that the basement keeps flooding. And it rains every day, for some inexplicable reason, the same impulse that writes Yuniesky Betancourt in the line-up every…
Seriously, the initial article on the Royals is 5,862 words long. The simple English version is 53. And this is what it says:
We tend to not do well after the All Star Break, so it's more like a 21-3 September. August doesn't look promising with a 3 game series against the Phillies.
At least the Dodgers have lots of reasons not to be good this year. The Rockies just fail. So much talent, so much not meeting potential. And I think I already complained about our manager’s inexplicable decisions, like bringing our closer in the 8th. Like he didn’t know what inning it was or something. We have a set…
Okay, this post is Walk Off’s fault. His comment about the Royals winning sent me off to Wikipedia, and reminded me of one of my favorite features of Wikipedia. Go to any page with a long article (the Royals works) and switch the translation to "Simple English". They take away all the big words and most of the…
What I love is that my on screen guide shows every channel possible, without distinguishing whether I have access to it. I have something like 900 channels on my guide. So I tend to stick around the 200-300 range. I’m sure it’s in there. I found BBC-A today and it was glorious.
Unfortunately only the Game Show Network seems to be stuck in the past. I forget the Royals used to be good. Next year, maybe. How are those Dodgers doing?
I have a Science channel? My Zenith is stuck on the Game Show network. The Zenith likes to relate to the shows that were on when it was created.
Well, according to my intensive Google search, I found the same numbers (1 in 2 men, 1 in 3 women). This is just manipulating data, however, by using cancer prevalence versus cancer deaths. For example, my dad had a small patch of skin cancer on his forehead. They did a skin graft and he is fine. But he would be…
Understood. Upon further research of both the law — the Energy Independence and Security Act — (and the spelling of the word seque, Italian, there follows, from seguire to follow, from Latin sequi), I still don't understood the construction of this newscast. The law was signed into law in 2007, and it will be phased…
I'm so confused by the segway NBC World News just made between volatile countries that have nuclear weapons and a law that the federal government is making us all switch to CFL light bulbs.
Have I mentioned how much I love that it rains every day and my basement floods every day? I talked to my landlord about what to do and her exact response was "Hope it stops raining."
Um, no one responded to my last comment but I have a serious problem.
Three annoying questions and one happy observance:
Details?
Rhetorical question.
My team is the Rockies, so I got familiar with Kimbrel lately. Absolute All-Star.
