Freezing cookie dough works really well too, at least for a half hour, to keep the cookie firm but chewy inside.

Schrödinger doesn't answer his email because he never opens the box to find out if it's there waiting or if it's not there.

If the specs are good and the price is right, I'll buy one - if I can reliably root it. :)

I was a contractor at a company for about 9 months while they dangled (since the 4th week) the fact they wanted to hire me. Then my hours got cut to half time, so I found another contract to fill the time. When it got round (via a nicely placed bug in a gossipy person's ear) that the other contract wanted to hire me

We're tired of it and, yet, Gizmodo is still reporting it. I figure you guys are tired of it too. So, why keep reporting it?

If this is indeed true, why do I think we're not even remotely close to the end of the crazy that is this story?

That's going to make it very hard to apply to any college, or research any college - the vast majority of them have application processes that are online.

A little education as to *why* people are talking about him wouldn't have hurt this article. And by that I mean more than the fact that he called the election, but HOW he called

Can you spell Mercedes correctly next time?

I *heart* the failbus.

Nice idea, but I've been driving for 25 years and never run out of gas. I *have* come close (due to a very long distance between gas stations that I misjudged). I usually fill up at just under a 1/4 tank.

Hi Roger, I'm a 5'7", 125 pound, 41 year old female - fine bones, decent shape. I hit the gym 3x weekly - cardio (usually running, sometimes elliptical and biking), and weight machines. I spend about 45 minutes on average in the gym, and that's usually my exercise for the week. I'm an office worker but I walk

It's the quality of your friends, not the quantity.

Put a line of cinnamon down at the entrance. Ants won't cross it for the world. Works really well, if you can put up with the scent of cinnamon in the air.

Have you noticed that the Dog-O-Matic article link is from 2009? I think that one's a reach - and I think it's cruel to the animal. Would *you* sit inside one of those to get a bath? I sure wouldn't.

That's what... 3 miles per hour? That's not a run. That's not even a brisk walk. 4.5 miles per hour is a jog (at least for me that's where jogging starts on a treadmill).
