I just want to address the food comment: What 15 year old goes without food for a month? Doesn't he have parents he lives with that have jobs that can feed him? If he *is* actually 15, then he's a very over the top melodramatic 15 year old.

That's likely because of some rights issue associated with the episode, either for a piece of music or something that's "special" about the episode. These are unrealistic for making them at work, and the author of this post would know that if they read the cookbook itself: Almost all of them (except the ones that involve putting meat in bread, or spreading something on celery) involve a stove or an oven.
